"Jonas: Hold Your Head Still"

Jonas recently gave himself a black eye while jumping on the bed (isn't there a song about some monkeys getting into trouble doing that?) This being his first black eye, we thought a picture was appropriate. Not an easy task with a 2 year old however. After several attempts we were a bit exasperated and impatiently told him to hold his head still. To our delight, he literally took the matter into his own hands.

Holding still for a haircut later in the week also proved challenging. But he did it...and (at least from the front) it came out great.

3 of Hearts

Saturday was Valentines day and our three little cupids decided to spread the love. It was a nice day. We had our new favorite breakfast - croissant frenchtoast stuffed with mascarpone cheese and topped with strawberries. A visit from Grandma & Grandpa as well as the missionaries in the afternoon, a fondue dinner, and a family movie night to wrap it up. A nice day spent with our own special sweethearts.

My New Year's resolution was to create a blog (finally) and while others are beginning to "amend" their resolutions as it is February, I have finally (with a lot of help from Chris) succeeded in my resolution. Now we just have to keep posting for the whole year....
